The Cullen team and Glasgow’s business community congregated at the recent Glasgow Business Awards to recognise some of the city’s most impressive companies. 

Cullen were proudly the biggest winner of the night, scooping three of the 17 announced awards.

Announced as winners in the Innovation category for their latest innovation The Fibre Bottle, which is a paper based, sustainable, compostable alternative to single use-plastic bottles and pouches for dry goods.  The Fibre Bottle is a market disrupting, game changing product and Cullen can remove over 270 million pieces of plastic packaging today, with this one product alone. The product is attracting immense interest and is set to revolutionise our supermarket shelves.

Cullen were also recognised in the Best Performing Large Business, this award was earned by their  exponential growth over the last five years as well as their innovation and ability to continuing evolving in the sustainable packaging sector. 

A welcome surprise was our third award of the evening, Cullen were announced ‘Most Outstanding Business’. The winner of this award is selected by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and The Royal Bank of Scotland and is the most prestigious accolade of the night, it recognises a business that has demonstrated outstanding creativity and vision for the future.

These achievements not only recognise the fantastic work and commitment of our amazing team, but the impact that our proud Glasgow-based business is making in the global sustainable packaging movement.
